Personally, I find both Locke and Marx's Personal Morals compelling in some ways. I do not agree one hundred percent with both, but I do agree with some of each of their principles. As I said in my previous blog, I am a Christian. Christians are supposed to be caring, and put others before themselves. And majority of the time that is how I am. John Locke I believed every man should be equal, and that is how I feel as well. I partially believe in the fact that everyone should pay taxes, and even if you don't have kids you should still pay for schooling, but there are somethings I feel like a individual should not have to deal with, and that's when I begin to agree with Karl Marx. I believe as though I can live according to both, in different situations. There is a time to be selfish and there is a time to forget about yourself and help out others.
