The second contemporary issue, abortion, really does not effect my principles. When it comes to my religion, I don't think abortion is right, but there are reasons when I think abortion is needed. I do not think my principles need adjusting, I feel as though if the problem does not involve me then I do not have to have a say in it. I do agree with John Locke, and equality, but not when it comes to personal issues such as abortion. I don't think abortion should be illegal, but I don't think it should be used as frequently as birth control. Aristotle's position, living life to have the good life after death, is least consistent with my own principles. I live everyday to make myself, my family, and my friends happy NOW, while we are all living. Abortion is a decision that you have to make, that is going to effect you good life as you live, not when you're dead.
